JUST CURIOUS ABOUT BOOKS, JEEVES
The “Just Curious” books were created for Ask.com as a way to feature some of the more interesting facts that people had searched for when using the Ask Jeeves website. And they of course featured their brand mascot Jeeves. I worked on three titles in this series of books including ”Just Curious About Animals and Nature, Jeeves”, “Just Curious About History, Jeeves”, and “Just Curious about Science, Jeeves”.
I first developed concepts for each chapter of the book and then made sketches for final approval before creating the final art. As the ideas were developed I worked closely with the creative director to keep Jeeves “on model” and to make sure the situations we put him in were true to his character as the sophisticated, wise, and always helpful servant and confidant.
